Our wine is the product of five generations of grape growers still farming our original homestead in the hills of Mendocino County, California. Our grandparents didn't use pesticides and neither do we. Our dry farmed, head pruned vines produce an Old World style grape easily producing a wine for any occasion. Rustic Ridge Zinfandel is robust and fruit-forward, with soft, elegant tannins.
Our Old Vine Zinfandel is a rich, fruit-forward wine that celebrates the depth and character of vines planted generations ago; dark cherry and blackberry aromas lead to a palate of ripe plum, raspberry jam, and a touch of baking spice, while silky tannins and balanced acidity carry a lingering, slightly smoky finish. Sourced from low-yielding, mature vines, this Zinfandel shows concentrated flavors and complexity without being heavy—perfect with grilled sausages, slow-braised short ribs, or a rustic tomato-based pasta. The result is approachable yet layered: a wine that honors tradition, invites sharing with friends, and rewards a second glass.
